Oliver Edmund Clubb

Oliver Edmund Clubb (16 February 1901 - 9 May 1989) was one of the China Hands of the United States State Department who was attacked by McCarthyism in the 1950s and blamed for "losing China" to the Communists.
After being forced out of the State Department, Clubb pursued a vigorous career in scholarly writing.
